Sailing in

Yesterday I got to the office in record time--about 25 minutes.

There were no government workers on the road.

I can't believe what a difference this makes in traffic--no postal workers, no educators, no state or county employees driving on the highways.

I thought it would be smooth sailing coming home, and to boot I worked late.

But I got in the traffic with all those coming home from their president's weekend holiday. It wasn't too bad, but not as smooth as in the morning.

Maybe I should get a government job.
