Honk honk

The geese are back, and honking their heads off. One Canadian goose was walking around in small circles on the refrozen creek by our house. I think he was hoping the vibrations from his honking noise and the movement of his webbed feet would melt the ice so he could float around in the icy water (brrrr). Raven finally got fed up with the honking and barked at the goose, lunging a little, just enough to scare him a couple of feet away, where he resumed the honking and circling.

Now it is snowing again. We got a little covering late last night--although the two inches or so from the night before melted before noon. Will we really see 50 tomorrow?
