Sunshine!

The sun is finally shining today! I don't think it is going to be a hot day, but at least the sun is out, the birds are singing and it isn't raining!

We got a new awning this week for Mark's west-facing window. It gets so hot in his room in the summer, so this will be perfect for today's sunny day. It is burgundy with scalloped edges and a small floral pattern at the bottom. I fought getting an awning for the longest time, because I thought they looked old fashioned and, frankly, ugly. But this is a fabric, not aluminum awning, and it looks very nice. Tim was right (as usual ;) )

So now, we can enjoy the sunshine in the shade. ???
