Snow!

Well, we waited all day, but finally the snow has come! Raven and I went out for a quick peek. He just laid down in the grass, enjoying the cool white frozenness of it all. I think he'll wait for a bit more accumulation before he makes snow dogs (angels)--one of his favorite winter pastimes.

It's supposed to get colder and colder, but Tim said he heard warmer temperatures for next week. Now I have to convince him to turn the heat on. He needs to change the filter in the furnace first, he says. But it's barely above mid-sixties in this house, so he better take care of it soon, or I'll flip on the heat, filter or no! Can you believe it's mid-November and we haven't had the furnace on yet!

By the way, the snow is just barely covering the green (yes green) grass.
