Snowing today

This morning we woke to a soft blanket of white, covering the bare spots of the ground. It's not to much, just one to three inches predicted--enough to snarl morning traffic, but also enough to make everything look fresh and new.

Raven always loves a new snowfall, burrowing his nose along as he plays dog-plow, and making snow dog/angels in the white stuff. He barks as we walk along, chasing the dancing flakes as the cover his back and nose until he shakes them off.

The kids are off school today--end of the semester. maybe they'll run out with their sleds and snowboards and chase flakes and make snow angels too.
