Soccer players here

My sister arrived safe and sound last night about 10 pm. It was a beautiful day yesterday--Christina got sunburned at Valley fair amusement park where her eighth grade class celebrated their last day of school.

Today, however, is a different story. The soccer players (my nephew and a friend) played in the rain, on soaking fields. Cheri (my sister) lucked out and watched the entire game from her van. Now they are headed out to game two. I think the rain has lightened up, but it is still overcast and thunderstorms are threatened.

Well, they only have one more game today (which they are at now) and one tomorrow--unless they compete in the championship round on Monday. Rain is predicted through Tuesday.

Good thing they brought extra cleats.
