Busy day

Today will be a busy day, even with no "work." Dentist appointment, Bible study, grocery shopping cleaning, conferences. Whew. Our friend John is coming to visit from Florida. Ever since he moved there from Hawaii (he grew up in Minnesota) they've been hit with hurricanes. Perhaps he's planning a move back? (Not too likely.) So, we need to get the house in shape. His arrival time is not clear--Tim spent two hours on the phone with him but didn't get little details like exactly when he'd be coming. It's something like Saturday through Tuesday. Ah well, our home is open to many travelers. John is a good friend, so hopefully he won't mind fitting into the ebb and flow of things around here. (Is my sandwich made yet? What smells in the refrigerator? Do you know where my teen Bible is? Have you taken Raven out for his walk yet? Do I have any clean socks? What's for dinner? Can I use your computer?)

It's all what keeps life exciting.
