Lotsa rain

Inches and inches of rain fell last night. I'm glad my kids got home all right, as they were out and about maneuvering through deep puddles. Some major highways (interstate 494) were closed in sections, but have since reopened. A few roads to the north east of here have simply washed away.

Tonight it's supposed to get colder, and I think there may be some snow flurries in the forecast, at least for those north of the Twin Cities. Summer has past, I think. I hope we get some moderate temperatures and can enjoy a cool (but not cold) fall for a few more weeks.

But cha never know in Minnesnowta......
