Short work day

Today will be a short work day, and maybe not only because I'm leaving early to attend the kids' school conferences--it's snowing this morning--just enough to mess up traffic. I will seek to enjoy the beauty with a smile and listen to uplifting radio as I drive in, grateful that I have a vehicle that doesn't break down. (we hope)

The kids don't have school tomorrow, although I have to work. I think Christina will be in charge of the house and the dog, as Mark will probably work with Tim. And, depending on how conferences go, maybe they'll spend some time hitting the books........
