Havin' fun in Tennessee

We are having a great time here in Tennessee with family. Christmas was fun with Grandma, Grandpa, and my brother Roger's family. The church service was nice--not too formal but liturgical at the same time.

Yesterday we enjoyed a day of shopping at Opry Mills in Tennessee. I was able to use my Barnes and Noble gift card and Christina had fun trying on lots of clothes and even purchasing a couple of items.

Today is Roger's 40th birthday and Christina's 16th birthday.Read my sister's Cheri's blog for more history on their actual birth dates. Christina got her first cell phone after much research and agonizing on the part of her parents (mainly her dad, at least on the research end of things.) She is excitedly waiting for 9 pm, after which time she will have free minutes.

Sister Lori, friend Mike and nephew Richard (and Mike's two German shepherds, Yukon and Taco) all arrived safely last night, if not uneventfully. Richard got car sick, the car needed some attention on the road, so they were travel worn when they arrived. We've had fun with them today and plan to watch The Princess Bride on DVD with them tonight.

Tomorrow morning we leave to head back to Minnesota. It's been good to get away, but it's always good to get back home too. Safe travels to all on the roads this week.

Till next time,

Suzi
