Seeing is Believing

I took Christina to the eye doctor today. She claims she needs glasses, although she's been getting along fine without them since she misplaced her glasses over a year ago. I've been too cheap to take her back to get a new prescription since I hoped she'd find her old ones eventually.

The picture posted here was taken of her in April 2005.

So, the news from the doctor today: she is seeing 20/20. Her eyes have gotten better, not worse.

I'm not going to argue and spend the couple hundred on new frames and lenses. She'll have to get by without the "cool" look that glasses bring.

And hopefully, she will eventually believe that her vision is not as impaired as she thought it was.
